most embarrassing moment of my life so far

Image
I wouldn't say that I've ever been in a situation where I was really embarrassed and can't think of any embarrassing moments that stick in my mind. this one took me quite a while to think up but one moment that I suppose was rather embarrassing would be this... When I was younger, I was at a birthday party and the whole of my primary school class was there. there was a kids entertainer and he was asking people their names and questions about them. when he got to me he asked my name and then asked (presumably as a joke) if I had a boyfriend. I replied by saying yes, and the guy asked me what his his name was , I told him, and the boy whose name I said stood up and ran to his mum and burst out crying! I tried not to take it personally! This must be one of my oldest actual memories because even though I must have only been about 5 when this happened I know I actually remember it and probably always will! ps. sorry to that boy... whose name I haven't mentioned in

favourite music video

Take on me by A-ha This music video is awesome. It's pretty old now so the definition is not a good as it could be, but the amount of incredible artwork and imagination in this video is really quite cool. The whole idea was so clever and creative.

The Specsavers Adverts I love these adverts because they are always so memorable and never fail to make me giggle.

GCSE english language grade

Image
I got a grade 7 in English language, which, since that equates to an A in the old grading system, I am very happy with. English has always been one of my strong points so I was very happy to see that my hard work made an effect and I got the result I wanted!

edenprince01@gmail.com I use gmail for my email account because I was told it was the easiest to use and get used to. I would never change my account now anyway, as I've been using gmail for so long and have got very familiar with.

Twitter

Twitter isn't really my kind of thing, but an account to use for media might be a great way to learn my way around it and properly learn how to use it, although I will only use my Twitter account for media purposes... @edenprince01

who, real or fictional, dead or alive, would you most like to meet

Image
Luigia Maria Campana This is my Nana's Nona, as we call her, or in other words, my great, great grandmother. My Nana parents were both killed during The Blitz in World War 2. My Nan was 2 at the time. So when my Nan was evacuated, because her Nona was elderly, she was able to go with her. Nona raised my Nan from the age of 2, and I would have loved the chance to meet her. To be able to hear her stories from her, instead of through my grandparents, and to have the chance to ask her about her Italian heritage and family, would have been an amazing experience. In my opinion, the chance to meet a long dead relative, my own flesh and blood, would be much more special, than meeting a famous person I don't truly know and that doesn't know me. I feel it would be much more valuable to get to know an amazing relative I never got the chance to meet and learn about the history of my family.

best film adaption of a book I've ever seen

Image
Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (1971) This film, despite being hindered by lack of technology and film resources in the 70's, created some amazing sets and bought a huge sense of magic and fun to the film. It wasn't just a simple adaptation of the book, but instead, an exciting and colourful version you could watch on your screens. For me, the fact that this film bought so much joy and vibrance to help bring the story alive, makes this film an easy winner in my eyes.

a fictional location I'd like to live in

Image
Storybrooke would be my choice. Storybrooke is the town from 'Once Upon A Time'. It's full of magic, chaos and adventure, and although it would definitely take some getting used to, I'm pretty sure after a while, once you were more used to the town, it would be a really fun, interesting and adventurous place to live. Also, it's full of storybook characters including all the new and classic Disney characters and some other strange but cool choices like Frankenstein and Jekyll and Hyde.

favourite actor

Image
Michael Caine. I haven't seen enough of Caine's films to call myself a super fan or anything close to that, but choosing a favourite actor was hard for me as I don't really have one, so I thought Michael Caine was a good choice as no one can deny he is talented and popular in terms of acting. He has starred in films such The Italian Job and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which are two of my favourite classics, but has also played roles in Miss Congeniality and Kingsman: The Secret Service, which are both different genres and very different roles, but I still loved both films.

most memorable line from a film

Image
YOU'RE ONLY SUPPOSED TO BLOW THE BLOODY DOORS OFF!! I've been saying this since before I even remembered which film it came from. This phrase is  very common in my house for no particular reason and is used when someone does something wrong, even if it's completely unrelated. The Italian Job, despite it's age, is an amazing film, that a lot of younger people my age, won't have seen but definitely should... it's a classic, with, evidently, some great and very memorable lines.

accessing the news...

Image
I use the BBC for accessing the news, I find that the weather is usually very accurate and reliable and breaking news and other articles are much more informative and well written than if you looked else where. They focus on important global and national news and give detail without being boring, BBC tick all the boxes in terms of quick, reliable and informative news.

most memorable childhood film

Image
Mamma Mia! i grew up to this film and have seen it countless times. I love ABBA and knew many of their songs long before the film was released, so when it did come out, when I was seven, I was thrilled. ABBA was big in the 70's and 80's when my mum was growing up, so I guess I got my love of ABBA from her. Me and my sister would watch Mamma Mia multiple days in a row and never get bored, i could watch it now and recite a ton of the lines. There was no doubt in my mind, when i saw this question, it may be kind of 'cheesy' but, most memorable childhood film: Mamma Mia!

favourite box set

Image
My favourite box set is Chicago Fire. It's probably not the most educational series and it's not likely everyone's cup of tea, but the acting is pretty good and the storylines and plot twists are very well written in my opinion. The fact that it is a series means you have a lot of time to get to know the characters and watch them change, which draws you in. This is the definition of a good series, but for me, the series had me hooked from the first episode, which makes it that much better. the best way to describe the box set for me is, if it were a book it'd definitely be a page turner.

favourite film

Image
My favourite film of all time is Grease, because i grew up watching it. It's really old but i know most of the songs and a lot of the lines... I love how simple and care free the storyline is but that it still manages to be so entertaining and fun at the same time.
